Robin trower est résolument un grand guitariste, souvent comparé à l'époque avec Hendrix, dont il est un évident disciple. Membre de Procol Harum (son talent était déjà très visible sur l'excellent "A Salty Dog"), il étouffait sans doute un peu dans le rock symphonique du groupe. Il développe en solo un blues-rock musclé, avec un minimaliste power trio où James Dewar (basse) se distingue aussi comme fantastique chanteur.
